Current Students

Veysel Erel

Veysel is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.  His research focuses on isotropic and anisotropic conjugate pair approach. His research involves theoretical, numerical and experimental studies. He is assisting to develop biaxial experimental setup. He is also performing uniaxial, biaxial, pure shear experiments on silicone and rubber materials.

Shahla Zamani

Shahla is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Mechanical Engineering. Her research focuses on developing a new continuum framework described in a convected coordinate system. The resulting kinematic description is used to analyze the mechanics of biomaterials through a discrete representation of continua constructed as a finite element modeling.
